Last 8th May around all the world, there were many people, volunteers, children, families, all who belong or feel part of Red Cross and Red Crescent movement, they were celebrating and commemorating the birth of Henry Dunant , who on 24th June – 1959 organized the first voluntary service for helping to all wounded in the battle of solferino , the initial event that made launched the largest global volunteer movement. One more time, we are so proud of being part of institution as the rest of 100 million of volunteers around 187 countries.
This year Norwegian Red Cross was focus on “Loneliness and feeling outside of the society.” The campaign had as goal to increase knowledge and participation in our care activities, and an overall aim is to make Norway more including.
As Red Cross youth in Tromsø, we decided to make of it, a big celebration! We got many ideas after youth gathering, thus we made a campaign from youth to youth ; as currently is fashion “memes or cartoons ” and young people love it , we wanted to transmit the message by making one of them and supporting it , so , there was one that was connected with the theme of campaign, it is called “ FOREVER ALONE “ a very famous and fun symbol. Thus , our great youth designer Dasha made a wonderful job , it was Røde kors klem meme or Red Cross hug which goal was to collect as many possible “facebook likes” or just give free hugs to people who came to our stand in the downtown , likewise, we were making face painting and giving Red Cross ballons to children ; for their parents , We were giving them information about the institution and activities in Tromsø , in another hand, by making free invitation for coming 8th may to the “open house” , so people could come visit us , have fun , share a good time, eat cake and celebrate
It was a great time as always with Trosmø Red Cross youth !

El pasado 8 de mayo, alrededor de todo el mundo, muchas personas , voluntarios,niños, familias, y todos los que pertenecen o sienten ser parte de la Cruz Roja y la Media Luna Roja estuvieron celebrando y conmemorando el nacimiento de Henry Dunant,( fundador del movimiento) quien el 24 de junio 1959 organizó el primer servicio voluntario para ayudar a todos los heridos en la batalla de Solferino, el evento inicial que puso en marcha el mayor movimiento global de voluntarios.
Una vez más, nosotros nos sentimos muy orgullosos de ser parte de la institución , asi como el resto de los 100 millones de voluntarios en los otros 187 países.
Este año la Cruz Roja Noruega se enfoco en ” soledad e inclusion socioal ” La campaña tuvo como objetivo incrementar conocimiento y participación en nuestras actividades de cuidado, y el objetivo general es hacer de Noruega más incluida .Como jóvenes de la Cruz Roja en Tromsø, decidimos hacer de ella, una gran celebración! Obtuvimos grandes y geniales ideas despues de un encuentro con el grupo de juventud , asi que creamos una campaña de juventud para la juventud,
Actualmente , esta de moda “los memes o caricaturas” y por supuesto a los jóvenes nos encanta, asi hemos querido transmitir el mensaje, haciendo uno de ellos ; por fortuna uno de estos estaba conectado con el tema de la campaña, este se llama “siempre solo” o Forever alone” un símbolo muy famoso y divertido.
En tromsø contamos con una gran diseñadora en Cruz Roja de la juventud Dasha, asi que ella realizo un maravilloso trabajo, ella creó Røde Kors klem o el abrazo de la Cruz Roja, cuyo objetivo era reunir el mayor número posible ” Facebook-I like ” o simplemente dar abrazos gratis a las personas quienes vinieran a nuestro stand en el centro de la ciudad, del mismo modo , estuvimos haciendo pintu caritas y obsequiando globos de Cruz Roja a todos niños, para sus padres, les dabamos información sobre la institución y las actividades en Tromsø, al mismo tiempo , les haciamos la invitación libre para asistir el 08 de mayo al “open house”, asi ellos podrian venir , visitarnos, divertirse, compartir un buen rato, comer pastel y celebrar.
Fue un gran momento, como siempre… con la Cruz Roja de la juventud en Trosmø !
